MASTER CHARGE
Amid signs waving, sing-
ing and linking of hands,
Council president Lewis
Grossman contrasted the
behavior of the Oak Park
Police who held back traffic
for the procession which
proceeded from Cong. Bnai
Moshe to the park, and So-
viet police Nvho harass Soviet
Jews.
Rabbi Moses Lehrman of
Bnai Moshe urged those pre-
sent not to be silent. "We
must make this event conta-
gious to our own people. All
of us are in bondage when
there is bondage over there
(in Russia)."
Shouts of "1-2-3-4, open
up the iron door, 5-6-7-8, let
the Jews emigrate" pene-
trated the air, and literature
was distributed on how to
help Soviet Jews.
Rabbi Joel Poupko, Hil-
lel director at the Univer-
sity of Michigan, delivered
a prayer and berated those
who he said were indiffer-
ent citing the Holocaust as
proof of that indifference.
He urged greater partici-
pation in rallies and mak-
ing headlines to show that
the Jewish community is
not indifferent to the
plight of Soviet Jews.
Also seated on the dais
were Allan Rosenberg of the
Detroit Committee, Marian
Shifman, co-chairman of
the Council international
concerns committee; Al
Kushner, executive director
of the Council and Gingi
Ben Zeev, who presented
Jewish songs.

INTRODUCING...
Depilatron, totally effective,
totally safe, totally painless
hair removal.
Now there is a revolutionary, new way to remove unwanted hair from any part of
your body. Its called the DEPILATRON Method... and it's as safe and painless
as it is effective.
With the patented Depilatron Method, no needles are used, so no scabs can
develop. A special tweezer touches only the hair, not the skin, and in seconds,
as if by magic, the hair is removed. And the Depilatron method is fast. Normally,
a lip or chin hair problem can be taken care of in an hour or so. Without pain,
without swelling or irritation. In fact, make up can be applied immediately
after treatment.
You'll find the Depilatron Method in New York at these fine salons:
Charles of the Ritz, Julius Caruso and Pierre Michel, and many more.
DEPILATRON IS NOW AVAILABLE LOCALLY AT:
