field attorney, was elected
president of the Jewish Na-
tional Fund Council of
Greater Detroit at the an-
nual meeting Tuesday eve-
ning at the Zionist Cultural
Center.
Schlussel
succeeds
Charles Milan, communal
leader and philanthropist,
who was president of JNF
since 1972.
Schlussel follows in the
footsteps of his father, Irv-
ing Schlussel, who was a
leader in JNF for most of
his life and was president
for a number of years.
Schlussel, 34, served as
councilman of the City of
Southfield. He was presi-
dent of the Association of
