graduated from Colorado

signing degree in textiles and
clothing. Mr. Bennett is com-
pleting his education at Cali-

Levin Birthday Party
to Be a Fund Raising

A birthday party for San-
der Levin will be held 5:30
p.m. Sept. 12 at the Raleigh
House. The party honoring
the Democratic gubernatorial
nominee will double as a
fundraiser, according to the
campaign's executive direc-
tor of fiance, Joann Caeca-
vale. The public is invited.
Proceeds will go to the
campaign's media account,
earmarked to finance Levin
commercials and advertise-
ments for the November gen-
eral election.
Levin's birthday is actually
six days prior to the fund
raising. He was born in De-
troit on Sept. 6, 1931.
Paul Brown was selected
by Levin to be his running
mate for the lieutenant- gov-
ernorship. Brown is the son
of the late U.S. Senator
Prentis Brown.
Avern Cohn and Sam Fish-
man are among those who
played prominent roles at the
Michigan State Democratic
Convention in Grand Rapids
last week-end.

Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Faud-
man of Berkley Ave., Hunt-
ington Woods, will be honored

dance at the Shiawassee Ho-
tel on the occasion of their
50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Faudman has been af-

for the last 15 years. He is a
member of Keidan Lodge,
Bnai Brith, and the Hannah
Schloss Old Timers.
Mrs. Faudman is treasurer
of Pisgah Chapter, Bnai Brith
Women. She also is a life
member and volunteer work-
er at Borman Hall.

Mrs. Stephen Faudman. They
also have six grandchildren.
