The party honoring the Democratic gubernatorial nominee will double as a fundraiser, according to the campaign's executive direc- tor of fiance, Joann Caeca- vale. The public is invited. Proceeds will go to the campaign's media account, earmarked to finance Levin commercials and advertise- ments for the November gen- eral election. Levin's birthday is actually six days prior to the fund raising. He was born in De- troit on Sept. 6, 1931. Paul Brown was selected by Levin to be his running mate for the lieutenant- gov- ernorship. Brown is the son of the late U.S. Senator Prentis Brown.
