JI\IF Women Join
in 'Three Rs'
Restoration Task

A massive effort to repair
the ravages of war in Israel
— the "Three Rs" program—
has been devised by the Jew-
ish National Fund and Wom-
en of JNF.
The three Rs stand for re-
storing the settlements, re-
building the roads and, JNF
Women's special project, re-
planting the trees. The latter
goal is for 100,000 trees.
Mrs. William Levin, fund-
raising chairman of the local
women's group, said interest
and support are growing for
the replanting of the Women's
Forest and Recreation area
in Kiryat Shemona. The pro-
ject was begun by Women of
JNF 10 years ago, as a me-
morial to a group of students
killed when their school bus
was bombed by terrorists.
Mrs. Levin said those in-
terested in aiding in the task
should contact the JNF office,
968-0820.
