Writers, a group of profes-
sional and free-lance writers.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry L.
Ja c k son of Borgman Rd.,
Huntington Woods. will ele-
brate their 50th wedding an-
niversary this weekend.
Jackson, a retired General
Motors executive, has been
active in the community for
many years. He currently
serves on the board of di-
rectors of the Fresh Air So-
ciety, member agency of the
Jewish Welfare Federation.
Jackson has served on the
board of directors for the
Jewish Community Center
and is a member of the Clark
University Alumni Associa-
tion.
Mrs. Jackson was the first
director of the women's di-
vision of the Federation. In-
strumental in the organiza-
tion of the division, she
joined the Federation staff
in 1946 and coordinated di-
vision activities for five
years. She came out of re-
tirement in 1969 and direct-
ed the women's division fund
raising during the 1970 AJC
when an unexpected staff va-
cancy occurred.
At present. Mrs. Jackson is
on the board of directors of
the Jewish Community Cen-
ter and serves as member of
the board of directors for the
Federation's women's divi-
sion. She is also a member of
Federation's community rela-
tions and health and welfare
divisions.
Mrs. Jackson's other activ-
ities include active participa-
tion in the Council of Jewish
Women, the League of Jew-
ish Women's Organizations,
lladassah and the Temple Is-
rael Sisterhood.
The Jacksons have estab-
lished the Pauline and Harry
L. Jackson Scholarship Fund
at the United Jewish Chari-
ties to commemorate their
golden anniversary.
Plans are being made for
a family celebration in Rock-
port, Mass., later this month.
