A new cosmetic shop, call-
ed simply 5," bas made its
appearance on the Detrolt
area scene. Located at 750
Forest, Birmingham, the
shop offers a collection of
preparations for face, body
and hair, all based on nat-
ural fruit, vegetables and
herbal ingredients. These in-
clude camomile tea sham-
poo, strawberry cleansers,
quince air conditioner,
grapefruit freshener, lemon
and avocado moisturizers
and eye whip colors like
blueberry and pistachio. The
shop is run by two young
women, Barbara Taylor and
Nancy Kasle.


Andre Scaglione of ANDRE
SALON, 13725 W. Nine Mile,
Oak Park, has returned from
London and Paris with new
hair lines and techniques.
Scaglione visited the famous
salons in both cities and said
that, from a health point of
v i e w, regular conditioning
treatments are most impor-
tant. The exaggerated taper
cut followed with a hand-dry
set is one of the new styles
that emphasize the natural
look.

Bloomfield Township super-
visor, officially opened the
new LIBERTY STATE BANK
AND TRUST West Bloom-
field office at Orchard Lake
and 15 Mile Rds. The new
office occupies a corner unit
at the southeast and of the
Old Orchard shopping com-
plex. It is open six days a
week. 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Liberty State Bank and
Trust, with assets in excess
of 472,000,000 has three other
offices — in Hamtramck,
Sterling Heights and Clinton
Township.

NORMAN A. PAPPAS, a
representative of Connecticut
General Like Insurance Com-
pany in Southfield, has qual-
ified for the Honor Table,
the company's highest honor
for its field sales represen-

Appointees Named

ROBERT M.. RUBIN

Robert . M. Rubin, president
of the junior division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation,
announced several appoint-
ments for the coming year
at the division board meet-
ing held Sunday at the But-
zel Conference Center in Or-
ton vine.

Benjamin Levinson, presi-
dent, National Computer
Services Co., and Morris
Ilarelik, president, Auto-
mated General Systems, an-
nounce the merger of their
computer services. The new
company will be know as Na-
tional Computer Systems.
National Computer Serv-
ices was founded by Mr.
Levinson six years ago and
does mortgage accounting
for more mortgage com-
panies, banks and other fi
nancial institutions than any I
other company in this area.
Richard Reinhardt. direct-

Systems, is president of the
newly-merged company,
Ilarelik will be the new ,
senior vice president of Na-

appointed executive director

was announced by Dr. Arnulf

board of trustees. Ganel suc-
ceeds William A. Levine, who-
resigned to settle in Israel.
