Will Be Addressed

the cake at a birthday breakfast':

the Raleigh House.
But the Oakland County con-
gressman can claim only half of
them.
The candles will be for Mrs.
Rachel Ann Ritchie, a lifelong
Republican who will celebrate her '
100th
birthday the same day
Broomfield marks his 50th. .

Derwinski ( R.-Illinois) will he the
principal speaker at the S50-a-plate
fund raiser for Broomfield, ac-
cording to Charles L. Lyle, gen-
eral chairman.
Derwinski. a U.S. delegate to
the United Nations last year. is
a seven-term congressman who
has served for many years with
Broomfield on the House Foreign
Affairs Committee.

Cleveland Community
CLEVELAND (JTA
pro-
gram aimed at stabilizing the
Jewish community of Cleveland
Heights, which includes funds to
facilitate purchases by Jewish
families of homes in the area, has
been approved by the Jewish Com-
munity Federation board.
The resolution for a community
improvement program calls for hir-
ing a full-time staff person to
work with Jewish and other in-
stitutions in the area and creation
of a special federation task force
to develop a program for the future
of the community.
