Dedication of the Charles and
Florence Milan Bina Brith Youth
Organization Conference Center
will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday,
Detroit time at the new center in
Rochester Township, at Belle
River, Ont. The center, trans-
formed from a large cottage, the
gift of the Milans, is located 18
miles east of Windsor on Lake
St. Clair.
After the formal dedication, at
3 p.m. Detroit time, the center
will be open for inspection for the
guests expected from Detroit and
the Windsor areas.
Guest speaker at the function
will be Dr. Max F. Baer of Wash-
ington, national director of the
BBYO movement. The mezuzot
will be affixed by Dr. Max Kapus-
tin of Bnai Beth HMO Founda-
tion at Wayne State University.
Participants in the program will

Brodsky stated that the Detroit
Businessmen's Group will try to
attain a goal of $150,000. Funds
raised at last year's dinner-dance
totaled $102,000 for the medical
center at Duarte, Calif.
The entertainment committee is
headed by Max Sosin. Jack Beck-
with, immediate past president,
leads the program committee,
which also includes Eugene Ep-
stein and Jack Epstein.
Officers of the City of Hope
group, besides Brodsky, are Char-
les Canvasser, Saul Katz, Maurice
Marrish, Moe Miller, Jack Ep-
stein and Braver, vice presidents;
Eugene Epstein and Ben Goldberg.
Goldberg also is executive secre-
tary of the Detroit group and na-
tional vice president of the City of
.Hope.

army veteran who has just re-
