Mrs. Winkelman reported that
gift shop profits this past year to-
taled S20,000, raising the 15-year
total to $174,000. All profits go into
reserach at Sinai Hospital. The gift
shop is one of 30 service activities
sponsored by the Women's Guild,
whose volunteers contributed 57,000
hours last year.
Since its founding, the Guild has
given more than 1,000,000 hours of
time for service within the hospital.

to Sing for Singles
Shlomo Carlebach, the "singing
rabbi," will give a concert 8:30
p.m. June 14 in the Jewish Cen-
ter's Aaron DeRoy Theater.
The event is sponsored by the
Young Adults of the Jewish Center,
age 18-27, who meet at the Center
for social and cultural events.
A Hasidic revivalist and record-
ing star, Rabbi Carlebach has tra-
veled throughout the world, per-
forming in practically every state
and every city from Ontario to
Texas, and in London, Paris, Jeru-
salem and Rome.
