Kronenberger Named on
JPS Advisory Committee

Louis Kronenberger, drama
critic for Time magazine. has
been appointed to the advisory
committee of the Jewish Publi-
cation Society of America. Phil-
adelphia. it was announced by
Society President Sol Satinsky.
Kronenberger joins other
prominent leaders in the arts,
professions and industry in di-
recting an intensive member-
ship drive being conducted by
the organization.
In addition to being drama
critic for Time since 1938. he
has been associated with Bran-
deis University as professor of
dramatic arts; is the author of
several books, including "Grand
Right and Left" published in
1951, and has compiled among
many anthologies, "G. B. Shaw:
A Critical Survey."
The Jewish Publication Soci-
ety of America is a non-profit,
educational institution which
has been publishing works on
Jewish life and culture by new
and established authors for
nearly 75 years.
