the engagement of their daugh-
ter, Elaine Toby, to Marshall
Bernard Feur, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Feur, of Kenosha
Ave., Oak Park.
The bridegroom-elect is pres-
ently attending the University
of Detroit, and is affiliated with
the Phi Sigma Delta fraternity.
The couple plans a July_wed-

JNF Auxiliary to Hear
Narrative Drama by
Mrs. Joshua Sperka

A membership meeting of the
Jewish National Fund Ladies
Auxiliary has been scheduled
for 12:30 p.m., Tuesday in Beth
Aaron Synagogue.
An original dramatic narra-
tion, "I Am Leah," written and
directed by Mrs. Joshua Sperka,
will be presented for the first
time in Detroit, according to
Mrs. William Schumer, program
chairman .Mrs. Irving Berko-
witz will present the back-
ground music.
Another feature of the meet-
ing will be a candlelighting
ceremony, at which new mem-
bers will he installed. Mrs. Mor-
ris Kutinsky, box chairman, will
report on the distribution and
collection of boxes.
A dessert luncheon is planned
by Mrs. William Hordes and her
social committee, which in-
cludes Mesdames Milton Win-
ston, Irving Bloom, Benjamin
Klein and Samuel Kobaker.
Mrs. George Lerner, Auxil-
iary president, invites members
to bring friends and prospective
members.

A reception honoring the of-
ficers will follow the installa-
tion. Members, their families
and friends are invited to at-

2 cups Kosher Beef Bouillon
2 cups canned bean sprouts,
drained
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons salt
Freshly ground black
pepper
6 cups hot boiled rice

Fry beef in oil over high heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in soy sauce, salt and pepper. Remove meot and keep hot.
To oil remaining in saucepan add celery, onion, molasses and
bouillon. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes, stirring fre-
quently. Add bean sprouts and cook for 3 minutes. Replace beef.
Mix cornstarch and 1 /4 cup water, and add. Cook until thickened,
stirring constantly. Serve with rice. Serves 6.
