the pledges will give their don-
ations.

Rare glass, fine wood pieces,
fixtures, antique silver and
primitives are some of the items
to be shown at the eighth an-
nual Antique Fair, sponsored by
the Temple Israel Sisterhood,
it was announced this week by
Mrs. George M. Stutz, presi-
dent.
The fair, to be held March
15 to 18, at the temple, will
feature exhibits by 22 dealers,
some from out-state areas.
Booths will be open from 12
noon to 10 p.m., all four days.
Mrs. Edward Skully, vice-
president of ways and means
and chairman of the fair, an-
nounces that

there will be
a country
store, selling
old - fashioned
delicacies,
hand-made ap-
rons and other
items. Mrs.

booth. Mrs.
Samuel Shew-

Mrs. Stutz
committee are in charge of the
needlework. Mesdames Harry
Fisher and George Victor are
in charge of exhibitors.
Three outstanding painters,
Steve Davis, George Provard
and Bertus Gale will do pastel
sketches of visitors to the fair.
This feature was arranged
through art patrOn Sam Field.
Organ music will provide a,
musical setting throughout the
fair, and the Birdcage Tea
Room will serve -home-cooked
luncheons, suppers and snacks,
under the chairmanship of Mes-
dames Sol Stein and Mrs. Torn
Mittledbrf; • assisted" by Mrs. -
George Kline.
The fair souvenir program
is being planned by Mesdames
Morton Snyder and - CharleS-
Bassey with Mrs. Irma Somlyo
in charge of "Our future lead-
ers." Secretaries include Mes-
dames Morris Arkin, Morton
Barris and Simon Traurig.
There will be free parking
with an attendant in charge.
Tickets are being handled by
Mesdames Samuel Barr and
Paul Monchnik and may also be
obtained at the door.
Mrs. Stutz said proceeds will
go toward the education of
young men in the U. S. and in
far-flung areas who wish to
study for the rabbinate.

League Plans Tour
of Crittenton Home

A tour of the Florence Crit-
tenton Maternity Home by its
social administrator, Mrs. Mar-
tha . Steinmetz, is planned as
the concluding program of the
community relations series of
the League of Jewish Women's
Organizations.
The meeting will take place
at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, at the
Home, 11850 Woodrow Wilson,
and will be preceded by a des-
sert luncheon. Reservations
should be made by Tuesday
with Mrs. G. Goldberg, UN.

The community relations
meetings also will feature re-
ports on the proposed millage
bill by a representative of the
Citizens Advisory Committee
for Our Schools and on the

deadline for nominations for
the Mildred Simons Rosenberg
Youth Awards is March 16. All
applications must be submitted
by then to Mrs. Theodore Barg-
