Tamarack Family Day
Planned by Centek
Family day at Camp Tama-
rack will have "farewell to
winter" as its theme on March
15. The program, sponsored by
the Jewish Community Center,
will feature crafts, hikes, music,
painting, indoor games, cook-
outs, campfires and sports.
Highlights will be a father-
and son softball game, and a
mother - daughter volleyball
games in the afternoon. Lunch-
es should be brought, but sup-
per will be served. At least one
member of each family must be
a Center member in order to
participate.
Families may drive or use bus
transportation, which is avail-
able at the Simons Branch, at
1 p.m.; Davison Branch, 1:10
p.m.; and 10 Mile Branch at
1:30 p.m.
Registration must be com-
pleted by Tuesday, and will be
accepted at any center branch.
The overall program extends
from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

MISS ALICE ROBBINS
The engagement of Alice
Judith Robbins to Stephen J.
Jelin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jer-
ome K. Jelin, of Cincinnati, 0.,
has been announced by the
future bride's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. 'Arthur L. Robbins, of
19325 Warrington.
Miss Robbins is in her senior
year at Saiith College, where
she is president of the Political
Association. Miss Robbins has
also studied at the University
of Geneva and the Institut des
Hautes Etudes Internationales
in Geneva, Switzerland.
Her fiance is in his third
year at the Yale University law
school, where he was elected to
the board of the Yale Law
Journal, and to Phi Alpha Delta.
He is an honors graduate of
the University of Michigan,
where he was president of the
Student Legislature and a mem-
ber of Michigama and Sphinx
societies and Sigma Alpha Mu
fraternity.
Between college and law
school, he taught in the depart-
ment of English of Indiana Uni-
Versity. The couple are planning
an August wedding.

Cut the peppers in half, re-
move seeds and place pepper
shells in cold water to stiffen.
Dice cold boiled chicken and
mix them with hard boiled eggs,
diced celery, onions, green
olives, salt, pepper and mayon-
naise dressing. Toss them and
fill the peppers.

Stuffed Mushrooms
10 large mushrooms
% lb. first broiled then boiled liver
1 tablespoon fried onions
2 well beaten eggs
4 tablespoons bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
teaspoon pepper
1 minced onion
% cup water

Clean the mushrooms and re-
move the stems. Grind the
stems with the liver and fried
onions. Add well beaten eggs,
breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
Fill the mushrooms and place
in a greased baking pan. Add
1 minced onion and water to the
pan and bake in a medium oven
30 minutes.

on Medieval Jewry by Sidney J.
White, local attorney and
scholar.
A panel discussion on "What
Is a Jew?" moderated by Dr.
Leon Fram, will follow. Pan-
elists are Charles Goldstein,
attorney and lay religious lead-
er; Reuben Levine, a past pres-
ident of the Men's Club, and
Frank Simons.
Emphasized in the discussion
will be the religious, ethnic and
historical aspects of the ques-
tion. A discussion will follow.
