True Sisters Gives
Support to Hospital

Meeting on Tuesday, at the
Detroit Memorial Hospital,
members of Detroit Chapter,
United Order of True Sisters,
presented Dr. James Lostrum,
head of the hospital's radiology
department with a check for
$700.
The payment was for radio-
isotope treatments for indigent
cancer patients, the major un-
dertaking of the national organ-
ization.
Plans also were made to
endow a new radio-isotope suite
at the hospital to store and
process radio-isotope materials.
The hospital has one of the
largest collections of such ma-
terials in the country, making
it imperative that proper stor-
age and safety in handling is
assured.
True Sisters also presented
the hospital with three televi-
sion sets for the use of the
patients Mrs. Harris Crane is
president of the organization.
