MISS GERALDINE MOSES

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis H. Moses
announce the engagement of
their daughter, Geraldine Mari-
lyn, to Robert Erwin Kaplan,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kap-
lan, of Oak Park. No wedding
date has been set.

They really know how to
hula hoop on Hartwell.
At least that's what last Sun-
day's competition at the United
Jewish F o l k School proved,
when nine-year-old Stanley
Schwartz and eight-year-old Rita
Orden placed first and second
in the first hula hoop contest
known to be sponsored by a
community school.
tSanley, who lives at 19335
Hartwell, won a phonograph,
while Rita, a neighbor who lives
at 19345 Hartwell, won a radio.
Third place winner was little
six-year-old Wendy White, of
19504 Stansbury, who received
a wrist watch.
The contest, under the chair-
manship of Mrs. Jack Abram-
son, vice-president of the Folk
School, was emceed by radio
and television celebrity Mickey
Shore.
