MISS BARBARA WOLOVECK
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wolo-
veck, of Wisconsin Ave., an-
nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Barbara Jean, to Wil-
liam Bert Lichtig, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Allen D. Lichtig, of
Sorrento Ave.
Miss Woloveck is a junior in
Wayne State University's col-
lege of education. Mr. Lichtig,
a graduate of the WSU college
of business administration, is
presently attending the Detroit
College of Law. He is affiliated
with Sigma Alpha Mu social fra-
ternity and Beta Gamma, busi-
ness administration honor fra-
ternity.
The couple is planning an
August wedding.
The Men's Club of Temple
Beth El has engaged Dr. M. M.
Shudofsky, professor in the de-
partment of English literature
at Wayne State University, for
a series of lectures, once-a-
month, on the subject "Titans
of Modern Jewish Thought." An
enthusiastic, large audience was
present last Sunday at the
Breakfast Club of the Men's
Club when Dr. Shudofsky de-
livered his first lecture.
