Detroit Youth Finishes
Coast. Guard Training
Seaman apprentice Gerald J.
Farber, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel L. Farber, of 3821 Pasa-
dena, has completed 13 weeks
of basic training at the U.S.
Coast Guard Receiving Center,
Camp May, N.J. Farber entered
the Coast Guard's six-month re-
serve program in March.
Farber will now report aboard
the U.S. coast Guard Cutter
Unimak at the U.S. Coast Guard
Training Station, Groton, Conn.,
for further training.
After completing his active
duty service, he will report to
the reserve training unit in De-
troit. Before entering the Coast
Guard, Farber attended Central
High School.
