Temple Players' New Production
Highly Acclaimed by Audiences

"Right up to the usual high
standard of Temple Players
productions in acting, staging
and professional effect!"
That was the general com-
ment of the enthusiastic audi-
ences that attended the first
two performances of "An In-
spector Calls," at Temple Beth
El, Wednesday and Thursday.
Two more performances will
be given this Saturd'ay and Sun-
day, February 22 and 23, for
which -4ckets" may be purchased
at the door up Ao curtain time
at 8:40 p.m. each night.
The J. '13. Priestley play, in
which Thomas Mitchell made a
smash hit on. Broadway- only a
few seasons ago, is a gripping

drama of the subtle weaving
of a net of terror and guilt
around each member of an
English family, culminating in
a surprise ending.
In the Temple Players pro-
duction, it is expertly played
by a cast of seven, including
Elaine Alpert Stern, Harriet
Stone, Midge Unger, Peter
Stoner, Bill Unger, Todd Purse
and Arthur Solis, and is direct-
ed by Larry Johnson.

Guardian to Assist in
Israel Savings Plans

Several schools in the Detroit
area have established savings
plans which will enable their
students to visit in Israel when
they graduate, it became known
this week.
Philinore Leemon, secretary
of Guardian Savings, W. 7 Mile
and Tracey, advised that one
such school using this system
is the Beth Shalom Religious
School of Oak Park.
Students entering H e b r e w
school at the age of eight have
accumulated enough funds for
the trip at the time of their
graduation, he said.
Leemon stated that Guardian
will assist in setting up similar
plans for any school or indi-
vidual student interested - in
saving for such a trip.
