Technion Enrollment
Reported at 2,625

HAIFA, (AJP)—The Technion
announced that the- student en-
rollment at the Institute this
year numbers 2,625. Officials
gave this breakdown: under-
graduates, 1,825; postgraduates,
140; technical high school, 660.
Of this year's freshman class
of 436 students, 277 were born
in Israel. The remainder were
born in the following countries:
Poland, 46; Romania,' 26; Bul-
garia, 20; Germany, 9; Czecho-
slovakia, 8; Iraq and France, 6
each; Hungary, Belgium and
Austria, 4 each, Holland, 3. The
others originate from 18 differ-
ent countries.
