This week, the "good word"
around school was senior. Most
of the activities that transpired
were those pertaining to the
"Jan. grads." Last - week, the
program chairmen, Hilda Rosen-
berg and Stuart Handler,
planned a senior variety show,
to which the whole school was
invited.
Then • came the f a re w ell
breakfast at which the personal-
ity paper was distributed. This
was under the guidance of An-
drea Donor. Monday, the honors
assembly took place. Awards
from many departments as well
as the scholarship awards were
given out.
Those who received magna
cum laude were Joel Shere and
Elaine Ash, while 22 students
were given cum laude. The day
they've all been waiting for
finally rolled around, and on
Wednesday, almost 200 capped
and gowned students received
their diplomas.

Tomorrow night, they will at-
tend "Enchanted Evening" at
the Masonic Temple Crystal
Ballroom. Not only the seniors,
but the entire school is invited
to dance to the music of Dick
Stein and his orchestra.

gave her report, and a gift was

Those lucky seniors! Not only
were they able to engage in all
the above mentioned, but they
have all come home from last
weekend raving about the
"blast" they had.at their senior
trip to Echo Valley. There, they
had a dance, skating, toboggan-

that all Mumfordites have to
look forward to when they be-
