Volunteer Drivers
After Recent Wedding Motor Aide Service, a divi-
•
sion of the United Community
Services' C.e ntral Volunteer
Bureau, is currently seeking
volunteers to help transport
many Detroiters to hospitals' for
treatment.
All of the people to be serv-
iced are physicall., and financial-
ly -unable to use public trans-
portation. Motor Aide drivers
volunteer time and cars to trans-
port those in need to hdspitals.
Only th&se - people whose re-
quests have been approved by
agencies and hospitals are trans-
ported by Motor Aide volun-
teers. Drivers never have con-
tact with contagious . diseases,
nor is there any lifting involved.
Volunteers may sign 'up for
as little as three or four hours
