The following chairmen were
recently chosen - "by president
Gerald Gorzeck to head pro-
grams of the HENRY MOR-
GENTHAU LODGE this season:

Mrs. EMERY EHRENWALD (center), chairman of the
newly-created JNF branch of the 45-year-old Hebrew Ladies
Aid Society, preSents a check covering the planting of 200
trees in Israel, to Mrs. SIDNEY RAVIN, president of the Ladies
Auxiliary of the Jewish National Fund. The money i§ the
initial payment on a grove of 1,500 trees in the Chaffin Weiz-
mann Memorial Forest at Rehovoth. Participating In the cere-
monies, from left to right, are Mrs. JULIA RING, Hebrew
Ladies Aid donor chairman; Mrs. Ravin, Mrs. Ehrenwald, Mrg.
LOUIS KEPES, organizer of the JNF . Project; and Mrs. MAX
BRUMER, president. Funds for the project come from the an-
nual donor luncheon. The 24th such event is planned for Mon-
day afternoon, at Holiday Manor. For donor- reservations,

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kief and son, Ronnie, are spending the
Thanksgiving holiday in Miami Beach, Fla,
S. R. Reznik, of 9517 McQuade, visited two weeks ago with
his nephew, Noah Reznik, of Israel, who was in this country
with the Maccabee Soccer Team. Reznik saw his cousin in two
games played by the Israelis with American teams. A week later,
he received a cable from his cousin that he was back inIsrael,
having re-entered his country's arfny of defense,
A surprise 25th anniversary dinner in honor of Mr. and
Mrs. Erbil Spilthan was given Nov. 10 at Rainbow Terrace on
Wyoming. The hosts were Mr. and Mis: Daniel Temchin, Mr.
and Mrs. Manny Sterns and Mr. and Mrs. Percy Berman of
Grand Rapids. -
Mr. and. Mrs. Gerson Segelman and their three children will
leave for Israel next week and will settle in the Negev. Mr.
Segelman; who received his master's degree in California, special-
izing in agricultural subjects related to California and Israel, will
be associated with the Israel Ministry of Agricultue and will
direct a special agricultural station in the Negev to test applica-
tion of seeds from California-grown vegetables to Israel soil.
Mr. and Mrs„ Ben Wasserman, of Santa Rosa Dr., recently
honored their- daughter,_E'llen Kay, with a sweet sixteen dinner
party at the Elnrwood Casino.
Camp Sea-Gull will hold its annual reunion from 2:30 to
5 p.m., Sunday, in the auditorium of the Esther - Berman Bldg.,
18977 Schaefer. Campers - and their friends are invited.
