MRS. ARNOLD Y. ARONOFF
Speaking their marital vows
to - Rabbi Sherwin Wine before
an improvised altar in the Crys-
tal Ballroom of the Sheraton-
Cadillac Hotel on July 28 were
Janet- Rae Levy and Arnold
Yale Aronoff.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Charles
Levy, of 18205 Wildemere. Mr.
Aronoff's parents are the Jos-
eph Aronoffs, of Toledo, 0. •
A pearl-white shade of Ital-
ian silk taffeta was chosen by
the bride for her wedding. The
nipped bodice was topped by
a portrait neckline, forme_d of
horizonal pleating of the taf-
feta and inset with embroidered
daisies above the taffeta.
The pleating of- the neckline
dropped into sleevelets which
were met by kid gloves. The
tiny bodice fell away into a
bouffant skirt, which fell over
a hoop of tiered ruffles and a
crinoline of net, edged with
lace. The gown ended in a mod-
ified cathedral train.
Her two-tiered veil of illusion
fell to fingertip length from an
open crownlet of scalloped taf-
feta, and she carried her con-
firmation Bible, from which
cascaded phaelanopsis and va-
riegated ivy.
Mrs. Edward Levy, Jr., the
bride's sister-in-law, was her
matron of h o n o -r, and her
bridesmaids- were Janet Schu-
ster, Mrs. Earl Jacobs, Mrs. Ron-
ald Ecker, of Pittsburgh, and
Mrs. Charles Fuhrmann, of
Madison, Wis., a sister of the
bridegroom.
The bridegroom was attended
by his father as best man, while
seating the guests were Charles
Fuhrmann, his brother-in-law,
of Madison, Wis.; Edward Levy,
Jr., the bride's brother, Al
Steinman, Bud Fishier, Wil-
liam Shapiro, of Flint; Morton
Harris, David Holtzman and
Dr. Milford Golden, the bride-
groom's uncle.
The newlyweds received their
guests at a dinner and reception
in the ballroom, after which
they left for a month's honey-
moon in Europe. They will
make their home in Toledo on
their return
ber.
