Honeymoon in Florida Home for Aged Installs Double-Ring NuptWs
Newly-Elected . Officers Unites Couple Here

Lois Sandra Linsky, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Linsky, of Roselawn Ave., ex-
changed wedding vows in a
candlelight ceremony June 12,
at Beth Aaron Synagogue, with
Harold MarVin Stein, son of
Mr. and Mrs. William Louis
Stein, of Washburn Ave.
The bride chose a floor-
length gown of white silk taf-
feta, fashioned along French
lines. Her fingertip veil of silk
illusion was held by a Juliet
cap' of Chancilly lace, scattered
with seed pearls, and she car-
ried a cascade bouquet of white
orchids and stephanotis atop a
white prayerbook.
The bride's sister, Sheila
Linsky, was maid of honor, and
her sister-in-law, Mrs. Milton
Stein, was matron of honor:
Bridesmaids were Marcia Ber-
man, Arlene Zaretine and
Shayna Parzen.
Milton Stein, the bridegroom's
brother, was his best man, and
Morris Lynn, the bride's uncle,
was head usher. Seating the
guests were Melvin Stein, of
Rochester, N. Y., Leonard Fid-
ler and Jimmy Gach.
Joyce and Jimmy Kohlenberg
were flower • girl and ring bear-
er, respectively.
Following a dinner and re-
ception, the couple left for a
honeymoon in Miami Beach,
Fla.

re-elected as -president of the
Women's Auxiliary, Jewish
Home for. Aged, was installed
in office at a luncheon in Rain-
bow Terrace.
Mrs. David Kliger, installing
officer, also inducted the fol-
lowing women:
Mesdames Lou Robbins, Ber-
nard Aston, George 'Bass, Jar-
vis Caplan and David Lichtman,
vice-presidents; Meyer Silver-
man, Solomon Grand, Harry
Steinman, Joseph Wolfe, Philip
Cameron, Albert Deutsch, Irwin
Faudman, Louis Sinaberg, Jack
Fishman and Sidney Freed, sec-
retaries; Jack Fisher, treasurer,
and Abe Stralser, parliamenta-
rian.
The organization services res-
idents at the Home for Aged by
aiding in its recreational .pro-
grams,.assisting at the sheltered
workshop and occupational
therapy programs, by visiting
and writing letters for residents
and sponsoring monthly birth-
day parties.

Florida Wedding Trip
Follows June 17 Rites

MRS. SEYMOUR RABOTNICK

In a ceremony on June 17,
Barbara torobinsky, daughter
of Mrs. Shirley Storobinsky and
Mr. David Storobinsky, became
the bride of Seymour Rabot-
nick, son of, Mrs. Anna Rabot-
nick and the late Mr. Isaac
Rabotnick.
The ceremony took place at
Cong. Bilai David, with Rabbi
Hayim Donin and Cantor Hy-
man J. Adler officiating, and
was followed by dinner and a
reception at Lachar's.
The bride's gown was of white
imported Chantilly lace over
satin and was outlined at the
neckline in lace appliques
trimmed with iridescent se-
quins. She carried a white Bi-
ble, atop which were white or-
chids and lilies-of-the-valley.
Arlene Milstein was maid of
honor, and bridesmaids were
Sally MaSserman, Evelyn Rab-
otnick, the bridegroom's' sister,
and Sybil Abramson. Reesa Di-
ane Pesick was flower girl.
T h e bridegroom's brother,
Sidney Rabotnick, was his best
man, while ushers included Sid-
ney Walitzkin, Wally .Bratt and
Seymour Rabotnick, a cousin of
the bridegroom.
Out-of-town guests included
the bride's grandfather, Morris
Storobinsky, of California, and
Mr. and Mrs. Joel Geller, of
Chicago. Following the couple's
return from a Miami -Beach
honeymoon, they will reside on
Ewald Circle.

MRS. E. JOHN KLEIN

In a double-ring ceremony
May 27, at the Adas Shalom
Synagogue, Marilyn n•Elaine
Rott and E. Jahn Klein were
united in marriage by Rabbi
Jacob E. Segal, assisted by Can-
tor Nicholas Fenakel.
'The new Mrs. Klein is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Saul
Rott, of 13021 Northfield, Oak
Park. Mr. Klein is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Klein, of
24040 Eastwood, Oak Park.
The bride selected a gown of
white Italian silk. The Chan-
tilly lace bodice was fashioned
with a scoop neckline, and long
lace sleeves ending in points at
her wrists. The empire waist
accentuated a bouffant Italian
silk skirt which extended into
a cathedral train. A cap of
matching silk and lace held a
triple tiered veil of silk illusion.
Mrs. Martin H. Garfinkle, the
bridegroom's sister, was matron
of honor, and Elayne -Tessler
was maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Mark Bader, Ann'-
Ette Feldman, Rhoda Feinburg,
Sharon Jaffee, Shirley Viedrah
and Gretchen Wyeth.
Junior bridesmaids were Rena
Rott, sister of the bride, and
Ruth Rott. Flower girls were
Sharon Rott and Zaneta Rott,
sisters of the bride. They were
escorted by Arthur Rott.
H. Kenneth Isenogle was best
man, and Mark Bader, Edward
Berman, Bob Freedman, Martin
Garfinkle, Harold Katz, Robert
Repitor, S e y m o r e Rott and
George Ruskin were ushers.
Junior ushers were Joel Rott,
brother of the bride, and Allan
Zimberg.
After a honeymoon in New
York, Mr. and Mrs. Klein are
residing on Moritz Ave., Oak
Park. Out-of-town guests were
from Los Anigeles, Miami Beach,
Vero Beach, Fla.., Cleveland and
Pittsburgh.

I Bar Mitzvahs I

Mr. and Mrs. Newton Wein-

nounce the Bar Mitzvah of their
son, Louis, on Saturday, at

Separated from his kin in the
aftermath of the devastation
and confusion brought about by
the Hitler holocaust, Dr. Chaim
Dickman, born 1914 or 1915,
seeks his parents with whom he
has completely lost contact. Dr .
Dickman, who studied philoso-
phy in Warsaw, Poland, and at-
tended Rabbinical School there,
received his doctorate at the
Warsaw University. His parents,
from whom he has received no
word, for some years, have lived
in New York and/or Chicago,
