Mr. and Mrs. David Curtis, formerly of. Clairmount St., are
now residing in their new home, at 19350 Tracey.
Miss Cheryl Ann Kobler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert
Kobler, of 3751 Buena Vista, entertained her frier -ids at a
barbecue party last Sunday prior to her departure tomorrow
for a summer-long visit with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
H. Gershon, of 26 Westwell Rd., London S.W. 16, England.
Mrs. Selma Rosenblatt, of Rochester Ave., has just returned
from Atlantic City, where she was a guest at the wedding of
her gran'd nephew, Walter C. Wolff, Jr., of San Antonio, Tex., to
Miss Sondra Rubin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rubin, of
Atlantic City. The ceremony was held at the Shelburne Hotel.
Miss Rubin is a recent graduate of Bryn Mawr College, while
Mr. Wolff graduated from the University of Texas Law School.
Dr. Ronald Edwin Trunsky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Trunsky, of 1743 Strathcona Drive, graduated from the Univer-
sity of Michigan Medical School. He will intern at the Harper
Hospital, Detroit.
Out-of-town guests who came here for the Bar Mitzvah of
Barry Kay Komisaruk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kay Komisa-
ruk, of Parkside Avenue, included Mr. and Mrs. William
Komisaruk and Miss Bessie Pogorelsky, of New York City; Mr.
and Mrs. Eli Avstreich, of Nyack, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Harrison, of Bay City; Jack Shier, of Denver, and Mrs. A.
Amiton, of Portland, Ore.
Dr. and Mrs. Ephraim Shmueli are sailing today, on the SS
Zion, for their home in Haifa, Israel.

Detroit Socialites Plan Beach Party on Sunday

Detroit Socialites begin their
schedule of summer outings
with a beach party Sunday at
the Pontiac Lake Recreation
Area, announces Max Taitel
baum, arrangements committee
chairman.
The group will assemble at
the Avalon lot, Linwood at Da-
vison, at noon, and will leave
by motor caravan for the picnic
site.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Walker,

Jeanne Evelyn, fo Toby H.
Goorman, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Phyllis Sosnick, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sosnick, of
1560 Lincolnshire, was united
in marriage to Henry Baskin,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Bas-
kin, of 17332 Stoepel, in a cere-
mony June 20, at Adas Shalom.
Synagogue. Rabbi Jacob E. Se-
gal officiated.
The bride's gown of white
Italian silk taffeta was high-
lighted by a sweetheart neck-
line, short sleeves with im-
ported Swiss organdy rose ap-
pliques and a, tucked, princess
line bodice.
Her floor-length skirt draped
into a bustle back, and fell into
a chapel train. She wore a
Mary Queen of Scots cap of silk
taffeta and matching organdy
rose appliques, from which a
two-tier veil of silk illusion fell
to her fingertips. She carried
lilies-of-the valley and stepha-
notis.
Mrs. Rhoda Higer, the bride-
groom's sister, was matron of
honor, and Sharon Sosnick, the
bride's sister, was maid of hon-
, or. Bridesmaids were Carole.
Baskin, the bridegroom's sister;
Valeria Perin, Annette Feldman,
Annette Miller, Mrs. Judith
Weisman, Mrs., Dodo Kepes,
with Carole- Pearlman serving
as flower girl.
Gerald Higer was his brother-
in-law's best man, while ushers
were Sheldon Otis, Samuel Wei-
ner, Ned Flusty, David Weis-
man, Leslie Kutinskey, Robert
Abram, Harold Josephson, Alvin
Schlossberg, Robert Sosnick and
Edward Sosnick, the latter two
being the bride's brothers.
The couple presently is hon-
eymooning in Miami Beach and
Cuba.
