concern for the safety of com-
mercial aircraft inadvertently
crossing international frontiers -
was adopted by the Social, Cul-
tural and Humanitarian Commit-
tee, with 35 for, none against
and 13 abstentions.
The abstentions were those of
the Arab and Soviet blocs.
During the final debate on the
resolution, Michael S. Comay,
representing the Israel delega-
tion, clashed with Ivan Kopecky
of Czechoslovakia and Yorgy
Hakim of Syria.
The Czechoslovak delegate
tried to put through, an amend-
nient that would have deleted the

Detroit, to be held at Latin Quar-
ter, Jan. 18, will go to Bar-Ilan
University in Israel, it was an-
nounced this week.
Guest speaker at the dinner
will be Prof. Marvin Fox, of
the repartment of philosophy at
Ohio State University.
The guest artist will - be Uri
Zifroni, noted Israel opera singer.

Dr. Fox, who holds many im-
portant national positions with
leading Jewish organizations, is
a noted writer and lecturer.
Zvi Tomkiewicz, director of
the Mizrachi office here, an-
nounces the removal of head-
quarters to 12238 Dexter, where
open house will be held from 1
to 5 p.m. Sunday. Refreshments
will be served. There will be no
solicitations of funds. All are
invited.
