Y. resolution ex- pressing the General Assembly's concern for the safety of com- mercial aircraft inadvertently crossing international frontiers - was adopted by the Social, Cul- tural and Humanitarian Commit- tee, with 35 for, none against and 13 abstentions. The abstentions were those of the Arab and Soviet blocs. During the final debate on the resolution, Michael S. Comay, representing the Israel delega- tion, clashed with Ivan Kopecky of Czechoslovakia and Yorgy Hakim of Syria. Dr. Fox, who holds many im- portant national positions with leading Jewish organizations, is a noted writer and lecturer.
