Israel Trip 'Reward'
Spurs Balfour Ball

As an extra "reward" for de-
voted service to Zionism, work-
ers for the 1954 Balfour Ball will
have an opportunity to earn
round-trip transportation to Is-
rael, according to an announce-
ment by Samuel Feldstein,
chairman of the ball committee.
Transportation will be via El
Al Israel Airlines, arranged by
Israel Travel Service, 11820 Dex-
ter.
The 22nd annual Balfour Ball,
major project of the Zionist
Organization of Detroit, will be
held Saturday, Nov. 13, at Hotel
Statler.
In order to give greater en-
couragement to new workers,
some of the leading fund-raisers
of past years have voluntarily
disqualified themselves from
competition for the round-trip
transportation, Feldstein re-
vealed.
Tickets to the ball are sold in
denominations of $10, $25, $50
and $100. Each ticket sold by a
worker will give him an addi-
tional chance in the competi-
tion for the round-trip trans-
portation.
Anyone interested in enroll-
ing as a worker for the ball is
invited to call the • Zionist
House, TO. 8-9413.
