MRS. DAVID J. KAHN
Speaking their marital vows be-
in an improvised chapel setting
at the Sheraton Cadillac Hotel
on Sept. 8 were Mary Louise
Simons and David Joel Kahn.
Dr. Richard C. Hertz officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Simons,
of 19005 Parkside. Mr. Kahn is
the son of the Harry Kahns, of
Winnetka, Ill.
Mary Lou chose a gown of
pure bridal white peau de soie,
styled with a snug bodice and
sleeves that came to a point
over her hands. The gown was
sprayed with appliques of hand-
corded alencon lace, and fea-
tured a sweetheart neckline. The
full, pleated skirt fell over pan-
niers and a hoop, and swept into
a full cathedral train.
Her two-tiered veil of French
illusion was fastened to a Juliet
cap formed of the alencon lace..
She carried a bouquet of steph- %
anotis, phaelanopsis and stream-
ers, centered with an orchid.
The arrangement cascaded from
the Bible she was given at her
confirmation.
Roberta Perlov, of Denver,
Colo., was maid of honor, and
bridesmaids were her sister,
Susan_, David's sister, Mary Ade-
laide Kahn, and Amalie Lieber-
man, her cousin from Dallas,
Tex.

groom's brother, was his best
man. Ushers included 2nd Lt.

cago, Ill., David Tabinewitz, of
