Paul were Detroiters honored with certificates of achievement at the national convention of Tau Delta Phi fraternity over the Labor Day weekend in Chicago. Julius Chajes, of the Zionist Organization of Detroit program committee, is arranging the musical portion of the after- noon's activity. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Simons, of 19005 Parkside. Mr. Kahn is the son of the Harry Kahns, of Winnetka, Ill. Mary Lou chose a gown of pure bridal white peau de soie, styled with a snug bodice and sleeves that came to a point over her hands. The gown was sprayed with appliques of hand- corded alencon lace, and fea- tured a sweetheart neckline. The full, pleated skirt fell over pan- niers and a hoop, and swept into a full cathedral train. Her two-tiered veil of French illusion was fastened to a Juliet cap formed of the alencon lace.. She carried a bouquet of steph- % anotis, phaelanopsis and stream- ers, centered with an orchid. The arrangement cascaded from the Bible she was given at her confirmation. Roberta Perlov, of Denver, Colo., was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were her sister, Susan_, David's sister, Mary Ade- laide Kahn, and Amalie Lieber- man, her cousin from Dallas, Tex. Edward Kahn, the bride- groom's brother, was his best man. Ushers included 2nd Lt.
