Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Yanieh, Who recently returned from
a summer at Camp Herzl, Webster, Wis., were in Detroit only
briefly before leaving for, Europe and Israel today, aboard the
SS United States. An open house reception was given for them
by Mrs. Yanich's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Kassel ,of 2316
Atkinson, prior to their departure. The couple expects to stay
in Israel for at least two years, during which time Mr. Yauich,
a social worker, will enter that. field of activity. Their address in
Israel will be No. 25 Shikun Rassco, Katamon, Jerusalem, Israel.
To honor their daughter, Annette, who will leave . soon for
Israel with the Habonim Study Group, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Stoll-
man will be at home to relatives and friends, at a Bon Voyage,
Sunday, Sept. 6, 2 to 6 p:m., at their home, 4031 Leslie. No cards.
The Habonim Study Group plans to tour all of Israel, to visit the
country's historic places and to be housed during its stay at Kfar
Blum.
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kogan and family have moved from Mc-
Quade Ave. to their new home at 18229 Kentucky.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zuckerman recently celebrated their 45th
wedding anniversary with their family and friends. Among those
present were their three children, Paul, Victor and Manny. The
Zuckermans have been feted by a number of organizations, both
in celebration of their anniversary and to bid them Bon Voyage
on a trip they plan to take beginning Sept. 26. They will sail
aboard the Isle deFrance for Paris, Israel and their native land,
Turkey.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert D. Wolff of San Antonio, Tex., are the
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Sloan of 128130 Santa Clara. Their
daughter, Florence Elaine, was honored at a reception last Sunday,
by Mr. and Mrs. Sloan,' at their home, on the occasion of her be-
trothal to their son, Arthur M.
Dr. Jack Agins; formerly a practicing physician in Detroit for
more than twenty-five years and now affiliated with Temple Hos-
pital in Los Angeles, is visiting Detroit with Mrs. Agins on a brief
Vacation. Dr. Agins is the author of "Mates and Mismates," a book
on marriage relations, which is currently enjoying considerable
Success. Dr. and Mrs. Agins are staying with Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Agins at 19540 Stratford Road. They will remain in Detroit until
Sept. 16.
