Hundreds of Workers Launch
Six- Week Israel Bond Drive

Hundreds of workers, who rep-
resented the leading community
organizations and congregations,
on Sunday launched a six-week.
intensive Israel bond selling ef-
fort.
Observing Sunday as "Build Is-
rael Day" in behalf of the bond
drive, the workers, representing
men's and women's organiza-
tions, reported that they raised
a fifth of their goal,for the bal-
ance of 1951.
Success of the "Build-Israel
Day" effort was reflected in
statements 1:13 organization lead-
ers. Pledges of even greater vol-
unteer effort through December
were given by Samuel W. Leib,

chairman; Morris Lieberman,
administrative chairman of the
Labor Zionist bond Committee,

Phillip Stollman, Mizrachi bond
chairman; Morris Jacobs. Zion-
ist bond chairman, and Mrs.

troit Israel Bond Committee.
At the Zionist House on Sun-
day morning, Rabbi Ephraim
Einhorn inspired the bond soli-
