Insurance Firm in Dispute
LOS ANGELES (AJP) — T h e
much-disputed age of one of
Ainerica's top showmen, the
late Al Jolson, entered the court
stage. A dispute has arisen over
payment of insurance policies
totaling $400,000.
Insurance companies assert
Jolson failed to pay high enough
premiums. Although believed to
be 64 at the time of his death
last October, Jolson was actually
70, attorneys - for the companies
contended.
