refrigerators to Israel for 1951
was received this week at the
Zionist office, 1031 Penobscot
Bldg. It provides for the gifts
of refrigerators to be divided
into three classifications:
1. Those purchased for new
immigrants to Israel who are
emigrating from the U. S. and
Canada and for whom no import
license is required;
2. Those purchased for Israel
residents who possess or' can
obtain import license;
3. Those purchased for any
Israeli resident who does not
have an import license.
In category 1, only three
Frigidaire models and two Gen-
eral Electric models are avail-
able, some for immediate de-
livery. In category two, the
same types are offered.
In category three, only the
Westinghouse nine cubic foot
and the Philco seven cubic foot
made in Israel are available.
Philcos ordered now can be de-
livered before PassOver.
