Among those present at Iota Alpha Pi's Hanukah party which
also honored its pledges were Audrey Soskin and Tommy KoTnigs-
berg; Eleanor Bachman and Larry Lipson; Doc Kaplan and Arnie

man and Sam Gorman.
Campaign Planning Committee members of the Community
Service Committee will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the home of
Milton Lucow, 20120 Briarcliff to plan participation in the 1951
Allied Jewish Campaign.
Mr. and Mrs. William H. Frank, their daughters Ruth and
Anne, and their son William of Wildemere Ave., and Dr. and Mrs.
Moe Rattner and their son William of Bayliss Ave., left on Mon-
day to spend a fortnight in Miami Beach where they will be
guests at the Oceangate Hotel.
Susan Kaichen who attends the Boston Nursery Trainin
College is spending the holiday vacation period with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kaichen of Huntington Woods.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Baum of Fairfield Ave., have as their
guests her mother Mrs. Vi. Heidenreich of Des Moines, Ia., and
her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Louis Heidenreich of
Cleveland. -
Mrs. Gerald Tatarsky and her small son of Denver are the
guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ginsburg of the Belcrest.
Mr. and Mrs. James Ginn are expected home this Saturday to
spend the holiday vacation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nat
Rosenfeld of Muirland Ave., and Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Ginn of
Birchcrest Dr. Mr. Ginn is attending Harvard University Law
School and his wife is matriculated at Boston University.
Mrs. Fr, C. Broder left on Tuesday for New Orleans, La., where
she will visit with her sop Brewster who is stationed at Camp
Polk. Bill Broder who attends Columbia University accompanied
his mother.
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore 011esheimer, their daughter Carol and
Marilyn Schwartz are spending a fortnight in Miami Beach. -
Vicky Schlafer of Wildemere Ave., is spending her vacation
with her cousin Myrna Schlafer of Hollywood, Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. George Seligman and their daughter Karen have
returned to their home in Marion, 0. following a short visit with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hartman of Indiana Ave.
Dr. J. D. Rosenman of Mertoh Rd., has returned from Los
Angeles and San Francisco where he visited his children Dr. and
Mrs. Leonard Rosenman and Dr. and Mrs. Raymond Rosenman.
-Mrs. Rosenman who accompanied her husband is remaining in
California for a longer visit.
Mrs. Harry Rosenstein has returned to her home in South
Bend, Ind., following a visit with her mother Mrs. M. Siegel of
Pennington Dr.
Harris Crohn who attends the Julliard School of Music in
New York is spending the vacation period with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Lawrence Crohn of Wildemere Ave. His sister Leah who
is the soprana vocalist at the Free Synagogue is expected home
on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bertram Hayms of Manderson Rd., have left for
Memphis, Tenn., where they will visit their daughter. En route
they will also visit Mrs. Hayms sister in Chicago.
Sheila Frenkel of Chicago Blvd., and Cara Cherniak of Wind-
sor have left to spend a few weeks in Los Angeles, where they
will attend the Rose Bowl game on New Years Day. •
Judith Levin who is teaching in Washington, D. C., is spending
the vacation period with her mother Mrs. Samuel M. Levin of
Broadstreet Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bradfield and their son Louis of Penning-
•ton Dr., have left for Tucion, Ariz:, where they plan to spend the
winter months.
Expected home this week end from Harvard University to
spend the vacation period with their parents, are Joel Isaacson,
Arthur Hartman, Stanley Zemoni Stewart Green, John Alexand-
er, and George Meyer.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Seiton have moved from Tuxedo Ave., and
are now residing at 19355 Marlowe Ave.

Memorial opportunities in the
new Jewish Hospital of Detroit
were announced in a booklet is-
sued by the Jewish Hospital
Association, Max Osnos, Associ-
ation president, has said. Any-
one interested in creating a
memorial or in honoring a liv-
ing person may arrange for a
suitable designation when giv-
ing to the Greater Detroit Hos-
pital Fund, of which the Jewish
Hospital is a partner.
Memorial opportunities in-
clude hospital rooms, equip-
ment, chapel, kitchen, blood
bank, occupational therapy
room and nurseries.
Mr. Osnos or Melville S. Welt,
chairman of the Jewish Hospi-
tal special campaign, will meet
with any prospective donor who
wishes to arrange for a me-
morial. They may be reached
at WO. 5-3939.
Workers in the Jewish Hospi-
tal division are covering their
slips and meeting weekly for
report meetings at 12:30 p.m.
