en, contributors to the current
Honor Roll campaign, in the
Fountain Room of the Masonic
Temple, Tuesday afternoon.
Five leading stores shared
honors in this event. B. Siegel
Co., Saks-Fifth Ave., Milgrim
Inc., Irving's and Edith Brown
provided gowns for this event.
Miss Trigere, an award winner
for her great creations, brought
her own New York mannequins
with her for this occasion.
Thus, clothes designs aided a
v e r y great cause — Tuesday's
event having been arranged
a reward to contributors in this
year's successful Honor Roll
drive for the cause of healing
the wounds of newcomers to
Israel and of sponsoring the
Jewish state's child welfare pro-
gram.
The exclusive advance spring
styles exhibited the professional
perfection with which they were
introduced, the mastery of the
guest designer, the accompany-
ing jewels, and the spirit of the
audience contributed towards
making the event an outstand-
ing occasion on the calendar of
Detroit Jewish womanhood.
Mrs. Theodore Bargman, Ha-
dassah president, greeted the
gathering. Mrs. Milton Mahler
reported that the sum of $123,000
was raised in the Honor Roll
drive. This sum is exclusive of
organizational dues.
