Mrs. Philip F. Brown of Santa Barbara Dr.. left on Thursday
for Los Angeles where she will visit her son-in-law and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bettnun.
Thomas M. Klein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Klein of Chi-
cago Blvd., left on Tuesday for Fort Sheridan, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon G. Winkelman of Fairfield Ave., are spend-
ing the week in Gladstone, Mich., as the guest of her mother,
Mrs. Henry Rosenblum, on the occasion of her 75th birthday.
Mrs. Dayid A. Brown, of Burlingame Ave., has returned from
Boston where,,she visited with members of her family.
Cy. Steinhardt of Chicago was a guest in the city for a few
days this last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan H. Schermer of the Lee Crest are re-
turning this Friday from. a few days visit in New York.
Miles Finsterwald of New York spent a few days in Detroit
last week visiting with friends.
Mrs. Mildred Lester of Byron Ave., left on Thursday for Los
Angeles where she will visit her son and daughter-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. William Lester and her sister, Mrs. Florence Weinstein.
Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Goldman of the Wilshire are expected home
this Friday from a visit in New York.
William Hoffman of LaSalle Blvd., has returned from a two
months visit in Israel.
Mrs. M. L. Platt of Calvert Ave., has left for California where
she plans to spend the winter with her son-in-law and daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Gold- of Princeton Ave., have left to
spend a month in Miami Beach. En route they will spend a few
days in St. Louis, Mo., visiting with members of their family.
Rabbi Julius Weinberg, director of the internal relations com-
mittee and the culture commission of the Jewish Community
Council, will be in New York- on Sunday to attend the wedding
of his cousin, ,Dr. Norman Weinberg, to Naomi Miller, of Long.
Island, N. Y. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Irving Miller,
president of the American Jewish Congress and vice-president of-
the Zionist Organization of America. The bridegroom . received
his Ph.D. in economics at Columbia and is now doin research
work at Maryland University.

MISS DONCHE DIKOVA
chestra under the direction of
Julius Chajes will be heard in
an all-Beethoven concert on
Sunday evening, at the Davison
Jewish Center. Donche Dikova,
outstanding Bulgarian pianist,
will be soloist in the "Emperor
Concerto."
Miss Dikova came to the
United States a year ago, and
has played twice with the De-
troit Symphony Orchestra under
the direction of Valte'r Poole.
She has performed as soloist
with major orchestras in Paris,
Milan, Berlin, Munich, Vienna
and Sofia.
