vows with Herschel Harvey Le-
vine, son of Mr. and Mrs. David

Rabbi Morris Adler performed
the ceremony assisted by Cantor

The bride wore a gown of
French imported white lace over
satin, trimmed with seed pearls
and sequins. The gown fell into
a long full train. Her veil of
illusion was edged with lace and
was caught to her head by a
crown of beaded pearls. She
carried a cascade bouquet of
white orchids and stephanotis
on a white prayer book.
Mrs. Louis Gorzeck was mat-
ron of honor; bridesmaids were
Louise Edison, Claire Ettinger,
Sally Lou Ettinger, and Mrs.
Milton Rotenberg. Julie Magid-
sohn was flower girl.
Seymour J. Levine served as
his brother's best man. Ushers
were Alan Ettinger, Robert C.
W. Ettinger, Dr. Louis Gorzeck,
Milton Rotenberg, Sam Wigod-
ner and Fred Ettinger.
After the ceremony, reception
and dinner were held at the
home of the bride's parents.
Following a Florida honey-
moon, the couple will reside in
their new home on Mark Twain
Ave.

Farewell Gathering
For Israel-Bound
Detroit Couple

In honor of their children,
Yisrael and Esther Stashefsky,
who are leaving for Israel,
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Stashef-
sky and Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Moser will give a farewell gath-
ering and linen shower at 8 p.m.,
Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Rose
Sittig Cohen Bldg., Lawton at
Waverly.
The evening's program will in-
clude solos by Jerome Stasson,
violinist, and Betty Kovialsky,
pianist, and a talk by David
Saferstein, r e c e n t l y returned
from Israel. Purpose of t h e
shower is to obtain linens and
money that the couple's kibbutz,
already established in Israel, did
not have time to obtain during
the heat of the fighting. The
young people leave for Israel
on the Queen Mary Oct. 20.
