DP Professionals in US
NEW YORK—(JTA)—A new
agency to aid the resettlement
in this country of some 25,000
European technicians and spe-
cialists now in DP camps was
announced here by Roland El-
liott, chairman of the organiz-
ing committee for the new body,
the Emergency Council for Dis-
placed European Professionals.
Among the groups which have
joined to form the new body is
the United Service for New
Americans, whose associate di-
rector, Arthur Greenleigh, has
been named to the organizing
committee. The would-be immi-
grants have all been certified as
specialists and professionals by
the International Refugee Or-
ganization.

honor of Paul Baerwald, a
founder and now 'honorary
chairman of JDC. •
Five educators and welfare

Klein, on leave from his post as
professor of social work at the
New York School of Social Work,
who is serving as consultant to
the Baerwald School; Dr. Henry
Selver, former director of the
