to honor president Weiner. At
that time Moe Kessner, singer of
folk songs, will entertain.
Monday at 1:30 p.m., the :gel
Aire will be the scene of a tea
honoring Mrs. Weiner. Repre-
sentatives from all Allied Vet-
erans groups and Jewish organi-
zations have been invited. Mrs.
Robert Kallrnan will sing, accom-
panied by Maryan Fleisher at
the piano.
On Monday evening, a Ladies
Auxiliary Department meeting
will be held at 8:30 at Bel Aire.
President Weiner will deliver
her message and participate in
a school of instruction.
Serving on the committee in
charge of arrangements are
Mesdames Elizabeth Shapero,
Louba Lupiloff, Rose COwan,
Rose Cantor, Rose Gottlieb and
Belle Osterman.

Children of - members of the Women's Auxiliary of the Jewish
Home for the Aged modeled the latest- in young folks' fashions at
the women's member-bring-a-member party held Feb. 21 at the
annex of the Home, Burlingame and Petoskey. The clothes were
provided by the Peter Pan Shoppe. Mrs. David Kliger narrated the
show, with Mrs. Herman Bregman providing piano accompaniment.
Mrs. Samuel L. Weller, Auxiliary president, expressed apprecia-
tion to Mrs. Harry Meer and Mrs, Jonas Torgow, and their committee
of hostesses, for their services.

the home of MIS, Robert Morri-

Dr, Baker has had many na-
tional appointments in the field
of child psychology and is the
author of outstanding articles
and books on the subject.

At a candlelight ceremony Feb.
6, at Park Avenue Pent-House.,
Doris Waxman, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Morris Waxman of
Webb Ave., and Richard A. Gold,
son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Gold of
San Juan Dr., were united in
marriage. .
The bride wore a white taf-
feta gown with sweetheart neck-
line trimmed with lace and a
rose pointe lace tiara- with illu-
sion veiling of finger tip length.
She carried a white Bible with
orchids and streamers.
Her attendants were Ann Saks,
matron of honor, Barbara Pol-
lack, maid-of-honor; Marilyn
Brown and Lorraine Micon,
bridesmaids; Harriett Mackie,
junior bridesmaid.
Lester Zeff attended the groom
as best man; ushers were Don
Sheldon. Raymond Waxman,
brother of the bride; Jordan Pol-
lack, junior usher, and Erwin
Mackie, ring bearer.
Dinner followed the ceremony.
Out of town guests from Flint
and Toronto were present.
