Enthusiastic reports from club
representatives foretell a success-
ful program Monday evening,
Dec. 6, at. Masonic Temple, when
the Pioneer Women's Organiza-
tion of . Detroit presents its an-
nual donor -event.
...Featured on the program will
be author and diplomat Ira A.
Hirschmann; Cantor Saul Meisels,
and dancers Katya Delakova and
Fred Berk.
The women are seeking $78,000
for the Working Women's Coun-
cil in Palestine from this event.
Leaders of the donor campaign
are Mesdames R. Landy, building
and rescue chairman; D. Mondry,
organizations; D. Colman, Moat-
zoth Hapoaloth; H. Kay, bulletin,
and D. Sislin, program.
Mrs. Reba Coleman is PWO
delegate to the Histadrut conven-
tion being held in New York

Concert Monday

The annual concert of the Sho-
lem Aleichem Institute will take
place Sunday, Nov.'28, 8:30 p.m.,
at the Jewish Community Center
and will feature the well-known
baritone, Saul Meisels, in a pro- -
gram of Yiddish and Hebrew
songs.
Yudel Mark, well-known peda-
gogue, author, and director of
the Commitee for Yiddish
Schools in New York, will speak
on "The Importance of Jewish
Education in America Today."
