Humorist Feder
At Banquet of
UHS Auxiliary

Mark Feder, popular Jewish
humorist, will be featured at the
25th anniversary dinner of the
Women's Auxiliary of the United
Hebrew Schools, Tuesday eve-
ning, Dec. 7, at the Shaarey

MARK FEDER

Zedek, Mesdames Louis Tobin
and Herman Wetsman, co-chair-
men of the anniversary celebra-
tion, announced this week.
Mr. Feder was director of
dramatics at the Irene Kaufman
Settlement in Pittsburgh; organ-
izer and • director of Chicago
Repertory Players and Manhattan
Players Guild, and was a member
of the Yiddish Ensemble Art
Theater and the Yiddish Folk
Players of New York. He is the
author of "Love and Laugh," a
syndicated humor column, and
"It's a Living," a book of wit and
humor which was reviewed in
The Jewish News recently.

Hurst and Stephen Beisman

tended.- Vera is the 'daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hurst of- New
York and Stephen's parents 'are

The bride's only attendant was
her aunt and Leonard Zubroff of
Detroit :served as best man.
Out of town guests at the wed-
ding included Mr. and Mrs. Ed-
ward Shumway, Jr., and Louis
Radin of Bryn Mawr, Pa., Mr.
and Mrs. Lee M.• Radin of Phila-
delphia, and Rudolph Marcuse of

After_ the wedding breakfast
at the Essex House the young
couple left by plane for a honey-
moon in Williamsburg, Va., and
upon their return will reside at
740 West End Ave., New York
City. Both Mr. and Mrs. Sarasohn
plan to continue their studies in
the graduate school of Public
Law and Government of Colum-
bia University.
