Mrs. Harry Newman of Lawrence Ave. and her daughter, Mrs.
Oscar Zernon of Roslyn Rd., left for an extended visit in California.
Dr. Jacob Lewin-Epstein, who recently completed graduate
work at Columbia University, was the week-end guest of his uncle
and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Hershman of Calvert Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. I. Rodman Myers of Hotel Seward left for Los
Angeles, Calif., where they plan to spend the summer.
Miss Edith Heavenrich and her sister, Mrs. Alfred Rothchild,
left on Wednesday for a stay in Charlevoix.
Mrs. Joseph Hartman of Chicago Blvd. returned on Monday
from McKeesport, Pa., where she spent a few days visiting with
members of her family.
Mrs. Rose Lipson of Merton Rd. had as her guests over the
holiday week-end her brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Boston.
Mrs. Richard Heavenrich has returned to her home in Wey-
mouth, Mass., after a few days' visit with her mother, Mrs. S. Lam-
bert Brown of the Lee Crest Apt. She attended the Edelstein-Levin
wedding on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Marcuse, their daughter, Anne, and son,
Philip, of Glynn Ct. left on Friday for Charlevoix where they will
be the guests of her mother, Mrs. Isaac Gilbert.
Mrs. Benjamin Siegel of Boston Blvd. is spending some time
in Lake Placid.
Mrs. Herbert Rubenstein and her small son, Dicky, of Los
Angeles, Calif., are the guests of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Leighton
Steele of Monterey Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Bayre Levin and their family of Edison Ave. have
left for Pointe Pelee, Ont., where they will spend the summer
months.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Blumberg of Manderson Ave. spent the
holiday week-end in Frankfort as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
J. L. Frank.
Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Grosfeld of Whitmore Rd. have returned
from a six-week visit on the continent. In Brighton, England, they
were the guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Monte Rose.
Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Gross have returned to their home in
Evansville, Ind., after a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice
Aronnson of Chicago Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schembeck are planning to leave this Friday
on a motor trip to Quebec.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Gordon of Burns Dr. have been visiting
in the east with members of their family and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Moss of Burlingame Ave. returned on
Wednesday from a few days' visit in Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sacks of Dexter Blvd. left on Saturday for

a 10 day stay at the Muskoka Lakes, Ont.
Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Garon of Stoepel Ave. have returned from
Duluth, Minn., where they visited with members of their family.
Mrs. Fanny Rosenthal of the Wolverine Hotel is spending a few
weeks in Philadelphia.
Miss Florence Wolff of San Antonio, Tex. is the guest of her
cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Levy of Calvert Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Friedman of Ilene Ave., spent the week in
Chicago.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Cohen of the Park Lane Apt. have as their
guests their daughter, Mrs. Stewart Rothman, and her small daugh-
ter of St. Paul, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Moyer of Cliciago were guests at the
Wardell-Sheraton Hotel over the holiday week-end while visiting
with members of their family.
Rolf Manko of Schenectady, N. Y., spent the holiday week-end

Moshe to plan an open air home
cooked luncheon scheduled for
July 14 at the home of Mrs. D.

The organization purchased a
grove of trees in Palestine and
donated $2,000 to Haganah, and
pledged $500 to. the Allied Jew-
ish Campaign.

MRS. GOLDA MEIRSON, Is-
raeli Minister-designate to the
Soviet Union, was injured in
Brooklyn in a taxicab collision
and was hOspitalized overnight
in a Brooklyn hospital. In a tele-
phone conversation with the Jew-
ish Telegraphic Agency, Mrs.
Meirson said she was "all right,"
and "that there is nothing to wor-
ry about."

MRS. JACK WOLRAUCH
Sunday, in the formal garden of
the Whittier Hotel. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Weber,. of Pasadena Ave.,
and the bridegroom is the son
of Mrs. Morey Wolrauch of
Geneva Ave. and the late Mr.
Morey Wolrauch.
The bride wore a gown of
ivory chantilly lace over ivory
satin, with a bertha of lace
studded with irridescent sequins,
full skirt and rounded court
train. Her veil of ivory illusion
was held in place by a Mary
.Stuart. bonnet of lace over ivory
satin. She carried an arrange-
ment of pale pink Rubrum lilies
with a white orchid.
Mrs. Bernard Breyer was ma-
tron-of-honor, and the brides-
maids included Madline, Marion
and Harriett Wolrauch, Barbara
Weinberg, Marlene Weber and
Etta Gail Benyas.
Bernard Breyer assisted the
bridegroom as best man. The
ushers included Robert Benyas,
Rodney Weber, Donald Benyas,
Irving Rash, Joseph Berger and
Jack Rash.
Out-of-town guests from River
Forest, Ill., and Pittsburgh, were
present.
The couple left for a - honey-
moon at Lake Placid and Cana-
dian resorts. They will be at
home after July 15 at 277 Ge-
neva, Highland Park.
