the Roy Rogers show was present-
ed for the entertainment of the
veterans who are patients at the
hospital. This trip was planned in
conjunction with Raymond Zuss-
man Ladies Auxiliary.

FRANCES WINOKUR
of Frances Winokur as director
of junior activities.
Miss Winokur is a 1940 gradu-
ate of Central High School. At
Wayne University she received
her B.A: degree in education in
1944 and later attended Teachers
College, Columbia University,
where she received her M.A. de-
gree in childhood education in
1947. While at Columbia Miss
Winokur took courses at the
Jewish Theological Seminary of
America.• She was also associated
with the Beth Hayelea School in
New York City, an experimental
school in bicultural education.
A' graduate of the Detroit
United Hebrew Schools, Miss
Winokur was a counselor at the
Jewish Community Center's
Camp Habonim in 1942. While
attending Wayne she was active
on the Zionist Youth Council.
As junior activities director
Miss Winokur. will plan and co-
ordinate all activities for Cen-
ter members between the ages of
six , and 14. The program will in-
clude arts and •crafts, music,
health education, holiday cele-
brations, dancing, scouting,, pho-
tography, club groups, di-amatic
and other projects, providing for
activity every afternoon except
Saturday.
