SATURDAY ART CLASSES

Jewish Books

By HERZL B. SHUR

For Jewish books
Let's cultivate a taste
And to the library
Let us make haste.

Let's see our people's character
The people of the_ book
Let's think of our destiny
And into our history look.
We Jews must remember,
We can not forget
Our people's woes and sorrows
Which are not over yet.
Upon books depends
Our strong foundation
Both as a people
And as a nation.
In our great literature
We must take great pride
Torah and learning
Is still our guide.
So to the library
Let's lift our feet
For there we shall find
A glorious treat.
