3 Center Camps
Announce Plans
For '47 Season
St. Council Center Day Camp.
Registration for Camp Chelsea,
the mothers' and children's camp,
begins May 15. Under the direc-
tion of Samuel Neuschatz, the
camp will provide vacations for
members of the Mothers' Clubs,
other Jewish mothers and their
small children, and adult Jewish
women.
Camp rates are $28 per week
for Mothers' Club members, $20
per week for children of mem-
bers, $36 per - week for non-mem-
ber adults, and $25_per week for
non-member children.
For registration appointthents,
call Harriet Shear. at MA. 8400
from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m., Monday
through Friday.
Camp Habonim, the day-camp
at the main Center, will have
four two-week periods, provid-
ing in-city activities for children
from 6 to 14 from 9 a. m. to 4
p. m. daily.
A brochure describing the
camp will be sent to parents by
calling MA. 8400.
The 12th St. Day Camp offers
a similar program, but adds a
special morning session for pre-
school age children. Fees will be
$4 per week for children 6 to 12,
and $2 weekly for the ,younger
this policy.

the annual JNF labor drive to be
inaugurated at a public meeting
at Temple Beth El June 15, with
Dr. James McDonald, one of the
U. S. members of the Anglo-
American Committee of Inquiry,
as guest speaker. Dr. McDonald,
a staunch friend of the Zionist
cause, is at present in Palestine
after having toured England for
the Joint Palestine Appeal.
It was announced this week
that the Harry Schumer Forest
in Palestine has been completed
and that this year's labor JNF
funds will be used for the estab-
