Mrs. Henry Wineman of Hamilton Rd. left on Tuesday to
spend a few days in New York.
Mrs. Walter Lillienfeld of Winnetka, Ill., has been visiting her
parents, Mr. and. Mrs. Day Krolik of Wildemere Ave.
Maurice Enggass, his daughter, Barbara, and his son, Peter,
of Cumberland Way have returned from a visit in New York.
Mrs. Rosalie Gates of Los Angeles is the guest of her brother,
Samuel Gilbert of Arden Park.
Mrs. Isadore Levin of Strathcona Dr. is spending a week in
New York.
Mary I Wilkus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wilkus of
Boston Blvd., and Suzanne Ginsburg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Ginsburg of Chicago Blvd., have returned to Boulder, Colo.,
where they resumed their studies at the University of Colorado.
Dr. and Mrs. Edward E. Levine (Ethel Isenberg) have re
- turned from their wedding trip to Canada, the New England States
and NeW York and are now residing at 950 Whitmore Rd.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard R. Isenberg (Helene Michel) are now
residing at the Polk Manor Apt. on Second Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Barnett of Pontiac had as their guests
last week Mrs. Barnett's sisters, Miss Zelma Rosenthal of Patter-
son, N. J., and Mrs. Samuel Weinstein of Beaumont, Tex., Stanley
Weinstein of Chicago and Miss Harriet Solomon of Milwaukee, Wis.
Mrs. Harvey Lynn of Memphis. Tenn., and her two small sons
are visiting Mrs. Lynn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Diamond,
of Longfellow Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. David Racoosin and their daughter, Mira, of Rose-
lawn Ave. have moved to Summit, N. J., where they plan to make
their home.
John Alexander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Alexander of
Calvert Ave., has enlisted in the U. S. Army and has left for his
post at Aberdeen, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ivan Frankel of Muirland Ave. have re-
turned from a few weeks visit in California.
Mrs. Morris Mersky and her small daughter of Tuxedo Ave.
left on Sunday for New York where they plan to visit their cousins,
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Wolfson.
Philip Caplan, who attends the Yeshiva University jn New
York, is spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Abraham Caplan of West Boston.
Miss Lucille Michaelson left on Wednesday for Germany where
she will resume her duties as Club Director for the American
Red Cross.
Milton Gordon returned on Monday to Los Angeles, Cal., where
he is attending the UCLA after spending the Holy Day,;, with his
parents. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Gordon of Webb Ave. His brother.
Louis. of Washington. D. C., was also home for a few days.
Cpl. Bartley Feinberg has returned to his post at Randolph
Field, Texas, following a few days furlough spent with his parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Feinberg of Boston Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs. Rudie Kresin of Los Angeles were guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Clinton of Santa Rosa 'Ave. for two weeks and
were extensively entertained during their stay.
Lt. Dean P. Carron, who is stationed at Fort Sheridan, Ia.
spent a few days leave with Mrs_ Carron and their small son, Neil.
in their home in Roselawn Ave.
Sgt Albert H. Rosengarten returned from the Philippines and I
Okinawa where he served for the past year in the Army Air Force.
He is now at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Rosengarten
of 1944 Elmhurst, and plans to resume his studies at Wayne Uni-
versity.

Banquet Arranged to Greet
Newly-Elected President of
Ontario Zionist Region

Harry Rosenthal of Windsor
will be honored at a community
banquet on Oct. 24, at Shaar
Hashomayim Synagogue, Wind-
sor, on the occasion of his elec-
tion to the presidency of the On-
tario Zionist Region. The dinner
at 6:30 will be followed by a
program to be announced later.
In charge of arrangements for
the banquet are: Milton Sumner,
Wolf Auerbach and Louis Lut-
vak.
Out-of-town guests are expect-
ed to attend.
