president of the Jewish Social
Service Bureau, succeeding Ben;
jaMin E. Jaffe.
Mrs, Lakoff has been a mem-
ber of the Bureau's board since
1941 and its vice-president since
1943.
The other Officer§s elected are:
Dr. Lawrence Seltzer, vice presi-
dent; Daniel Mendelsohn, treas-
urer, and Harold Silver, secretary.
The Jewish Social Service
Bureau is a family and child
welfare agency and is supported
by the Detroit Community Fund.
It is affiliated with the Jewish
Welfare Federation of Detroit.
