Lt. Cot. M. Hack
Back From Service

Lt. Jack Brimberg, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Hyman Dresner, 18518
Santa Rosa Dr., now stationed in
Frankfurt, Germany, writes that
in seeking out Jewish children
for a Hanukah party, only eight
were found in the city.
He writes : "Frankfurt was be-
fore Hitler's time one of the
largest Jewish communities in
Germany. The biggest park right
in the center of town was called
Rothschild Park, where 40,000
Jews formerly lived.
"I visited the Jewish Welfare
Board. A Rabbi Neuhauss, who
was just released from a con-.
centration camp, was assisting
us in preparing a Hanukah party
for the children. Those that we
located were hidden by non-
Jews."
